Our committees consist of a wide range of voices from within and outside the profession. We are proud that students and lay voices are at the heart of our decision-making.

Our executive team is made up of the Chair of the Board, Vice-chair of the Board, Chair of the Accreditation committee, Treasurer and Lead Accreditation Officer.

The process of to bringing BAAB’s strategic plan to life day-to-day is conducted by a staff team (consisting of BAAB employees and contractors) headed up the Lead Accreditation Officer. On matters relating to BAAB’s quality assurance and enhancement role they liaise closely with the Chair of the Accreditation Committee.

BAAB also works closely with the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) with the Lead Accreditation Officer and the Chair of the Board joining the professional body’s Governing Body board meetings. We also work in partnership with the Council for Heads of Acupuncture Course (CHAC), with the lead accreditation officer joining their quarterly meetings.
