Professional Standards Education Officer

We are hiring a permanent, part-time Professional Standards Education Officer (PSEO). In this three-day-a-week, mostly work from home role, you will act as the organisation's expert lead on healthcare risk management policy and communication, and serve as the secretary to the Education Committee.   

You will create a proactive strategy to help members navigate the complexities of modern acupuncture practice, while ensuring that lessons learned from practice risks are fed back into the education of future practitioners.

   Key requirements:

• First-hand experience as an acupuncture practitioner.
• Experience working with safe practice policy.
• Experience of working in education at degree-level or higher.
• Strong writing and editing skills to simplify complex risk information.

   The details:

• Salary: £24,000 per annum, (£40,000 full-time equivalent).
• Time split: two days/week risk management, one day/week education support.
